b&w challenge - day 2

Day two of the black & white challenge. I thought this might be appropriate since today is Monday and is a 'back to school' kind of day.  It is quite possible I made it my mantra to get through the day.

This was taken with my iPhone using the Hipstamatic app and more particularly the Jane lense and Claunch 72 Monochrome film. I've assumed this challenge is pretty laid back...so mixing it up with a little camera phone action. Today my nomination (which I think is pretty fitting) is going all the way down to Alabama to the husband and wife team of Auburn Heritage Photography! I met Amy and Brandon back in undergrad singing under the direction of Dr. Smith with the Auburn University Concert Choir. Amy and I became even closer as we were classmates that graduated together with a Music Education degree.
