I would like to introduce you to a magical collaboration of woman-owned business, conflict-free jewelry designer, Jennifer Dawes, of Jennifer Dawes Design, and the wildly talented makeup team of WINK Hair + Makeup and Krista Little, lead photographer of Shutter Goes Click. Using our trifecta-powers of photography, jewelry, and makeup we created a space for women through portraits to celebrate and honor their womanhood and strengths through the beauty of vulnerability.
This is my dream team, and it has been a pleasure to create alongside such powerful women. Jennifer’s jewelry design has a notable place in my heart as we trusted Jennifer with a family stone to create my engagement ring. After Daniel proposed, I began to follow Jennifer on the gram and instantly fangirled her account. A few weeks went by, and we connected. I can remember being in a grocery store aisle reading her message when pure and unbridled joy ran through my bones as I read her words, “let’s collaborate”. Yep, I did a twirl right then and there! We were thrilled to bring onboard the WINK team too. I had worked from a distance with the WINK team in the past as they’ve done a few of my bride’s wedding day makeup but never had we actually met and collaborated on a look. Needless to say, it was exciting to work alongside such highly-skilled artists.
